Our Process

Contact Us.

When you contact us, we will ask as many questions as we can to learn about your project.

Phone Consultation.

We will call you with a free estimate based on the information you provide us. Please have a budget in mind.

Planning.

We will conduct site measurements, drawings (as needed) and email you a detailed proposal. Once the proposal is signed, it becomes our contract. This secures your place on the schedule. We will also give you a tentative start date.

Site Visit Fee – $100

This fee is due the day of the site visit. It will be deducted from the final invoice when you sign with us.

Drawing Fee – $250

This fee covers the 3D renderings of custom designs such as built-ins, furniture, and other custom carpentry projects. In these instances, the “Site Visit Fee” is waived.

Production.

We will contact you the week before the tentative start date to update you on the schedule. Please be available for a walk-through with the lead carpenter on the first and last day of installation.

Custom Woodworking FAQs

Carpentry is the skilled trade of working with wood to build, repair, and install structures and fixtures. This can include anything from framing walls and building decks to crafting custom cabinets and trim work. Carpenters use a variety of tools and techniques to create durable and functional woodwork tailored to your needs.

If you have a home improvement project that involves building, repairing, or customizing wood elements—like installing new cabinets, repairing flooring, or constructing a deck—a professional carpenter can ensure the job is done safely, accurately, and to code. Hiring a pro is also important if you want quality craftsmanship and a polished final result.

Regular cleaning and sealing can help protect your woodwork from damage caused by moisture, sunlight, and wear. Avoid using harsh chemicals, and periodically inspect for signs of damage like cracks or rot. When needed, schedule professional maintenance or repairs to keep your wood features looking great and lasting longer.
